Foot & Ankle The foot/ankle position is a critical portion of the lower extremity axis which affects not only the hips and knees but also the lower back. Dr Ekstrand takes particular interest in realigning this axis using orthotics, braces, and therapy. She also evaluates patients with intra-articular foot/ankle injuries such as OCD lesions, spurs, loose bodies as well as extra-articular ligament and tendon tears. Many foot and ankle issues can be treated with non-surgical approaches, such as physical therapy, orthotics, and plasma/hyluronic acid/cortisone medications, and some issues require arthroscopic or open surgical procedures.

Plasma MicroNeedling

Discover the amazing advantages of micro-needling, a gentle and effective procedure that boosts collagen production, enhances your skin's texture and increases hair growth.

Small, sterile needles generate precise micro-injuries, prompting your skin to naturally rejuvenate and heal. This can diminish the visibility of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and large pores.

Giving you a more youthful and glowing complexion that you'll love.

Sports Medicine

Treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and physical activity.  We are trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting athletes and active individuals, including acute injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, and chronic conditions such as overuse injuries and arthritis.

Treatment includes non-operative means using medication, therapy, braces or orthotics, injections with cortisone or self healing blood products as PRP and surgical intervention. In addition to treating injuries, we also work to prevent future injuries through education, training, and injury prevention programs.  We aim to help individuals maintain an active lifestyle while minimizing the risk of injury.
